Beyond the Rainbow - Stories and Letters from the Angels

Here are examples of letters and stories given to me by the Angels. These stories form part of my forthcoming book and will change weekly. Have a look and see what message the Angels have for you, they were not intended just for me. Food for thought!

The Gift Of A Stranger

There was once a small community, where there was a great sense of peace and joy. Many came to join this community, because they saw that the people, who lived within it, had something seldom seen elsewhere. The people were happy and had, no great material wealth, they had few possessions. But, they had food and water they made their own music with simple instruments. They had songs that had been written by many generations in the past. They celebrated feasts of the sun and moon and sang the songs of the birds and whale. They needed very little.

One day, a stranger arrived, they welcomed him and gave him food and wine. They helped him to find a place to sleep. The stranger was grateful and thanked them for their gracious gifts. As the day wore on they showed him the ways of the community.
'You may share with us, anything we have, but there is only one rule that you must obey'.
'That is simple, said the stranger. What is it'?
'The rule is, that you must never hurt another creature within this community. You must respect and honour this, our great tradition'.
The stranger agreed. During the night that followed, the stranger considered this and what is meant to him.
'Well, he thought, I am a man of great need. I can be forgiven for these things, if I do not hurt too many'.
So it was that he arose and wandered around the community in the night.
The next morning, there was great consternation in the village, for there was no wood, to light the fire. It had disappeared over night. No one knew where it had gone. They searched and searched but still, it could not be found. They went to the bed of the stranger and he too was gone. The bed was empty, except for a small box left on his bed. A villager picked up the box, carefully opened it and peering inside, he found it was empty, except for a beautiful gold fabric lining, that shone.
'But the box is empty' they exclaimed.
'Yes replied an elder but what does it contain'?
'Nothing replied the villagers. It contains nothing'.
'But, said the elder, it does, you are wrong'!
They looked puzzled.
'This, he said holding the box in his hand. Is a great gift, this box contains miracles, it also contains hope, laughter, joy and love'.
They did not understand.
'No, this box has been left, to remind you all, that in everyday there is potential, if only, you will believe. This box, is a gift to us in return, for our hospitality.
'But, said the villagers in chorus, the stranger took our firewood and we cannot light our fire'.
'This is true. But you see, we can replace the firewood. But the gift, of this box will last forever, because he left it for you, as a gift of thanks. He filled it with wishes for you of love, joy and peace. He could not stay in the community, because he could not abide by our rules. But nevertheless, he respected them and he has left in payment for the firewood, a box of miracles. For this is a box of love. What greater gift can one, give to another, but a gift of purity, generosity and most of all, a box of love to be treasured and looked upon, whenever you need it'!

I say this to you, for this is the most special gift of all – a box of love.
I give you my blessings.
