Lost Time

What little time I had, I shared, with you.
What little time I had, I cared, for you.
What little time I had,
I didn't stop and see,
The time, we lost, both, you and me.
For if, I had stopped, and seen my days,
When I had no time, to stand and gaze,
The beauty of the world, I'd find
If only I knew, this thing, called, time,
The time I have, I will vow to share,
With you, once more, to show I care.
What a lovely world, there would be,
If there was, time, for you and me.
The love I'd show, if time, was there.
The time, I would take, to show, I care.
Time is, all I have to find,
Time, for my life, with you, in my, mind.
I shall spend my days to stop and think.
Where can I find, it,
I cannot think.
So I will go on, in my usual, way,
With the lack of time, I have each day.
For time has passed and what is left?
I missed my life
I must confess,
It passed us by and we failed see
That, time, was meant for you and me.
No!
Now, it's time to stop and see,
Why, time, never waits for you or me.
